CROSS YOU OUT

In the time since you last saw me, I turned the page to chapter 23 in this little book I call life. This birthday was particularly special, because I spent the weeks before and after traveling throughout Europe for the first time. While abroad there were plenty of opportunities for content, including this chic photo op on the streets of Paris. I call this look, the 2019 Parisian Mime. I switched the stripes for checks, swiped out the white makeup for my white Saint Laurent sunnies (also Parisian, right?), and fully 2019-ed it with a pair of chunky dad sneakers.

Details, details, details. The silver accents here add a bit of glitz and glam to this rather monotone look, and really pop against the dark wash of the jeans.

The one pair of shoes on my radar at the moment are the Nike M2K Tekno sneakers. I know these have gotten a lot of praise in the past year, but I am still not over them. Here they add a bit of sportiness to the look, keeping it casual and stylish for the streets. I can’t stress enough how comfortable these shoes are, especially when walking upwards of 5+ miles a day exploring the city. I fell so deeply in love with these black ones that I snuck off to Finishline to snag a pair in white as well.
