INNER SMILE

INNER SMILE

The older I get the more I just want to have fun. Generally, I do find putting an outfit together to be a joyful experience, but now I’m far less concerned with staying within rigid boundaries and standards I’ve constrained myself to in the past. Fashion has no rules and any that society tries to enact are meant to be broken. Whether or not it makes sense every time, in 2022 I am way more interested in wearing whatever my desires gravitate me to.

I’ve always had a penchant for experimenting with bold colors and textures, but I’ve been on a huge kick with dopamine dressing recently. There truly is power in the space you create for yourself and that starts with the clothes you put on. I think it goes without saying the star here would be these fluorescent pink jeans. Just slipping these babies on brightens my mood and naturally, my palette. I’ve paired them with my equally as stimulating glitter boots creating a playful look.

A cream knit jumper is essential, especially for breezy Spring days here in Los Angeles. Not only does this fuzzy number keep me warm and toasty, but the neutral tone is versatile adding finesse to any outfit. I love it here as it offers a deep contrast between the vibrant pink denim and the fiery red shades. The rectangular sunglasses trend is definitely one I will be holding onto a bit longer. The modular design is very chic offering a more serious vibe to this look without compromising any of the liveliness. Cheers to dressing for you in what brings you happiness.
